During the summer months I don't wear very much eyeshadow because my face gets oily and then I just feel like a hot mess, but with fall just around the corner, I'm excited to glam it up a little and have fun with the new fall palettes.

Anastasia Beverly Hills has come out with a fall eyeshadow palette that falls right in line with my everyday, natural beauty regimen. The "She Wears It Well" palette ($34) that brings classic Hollywood glamour with a modern twist.

This set comes with nine colors featuring shimmer and matte colors. The packaging is nice and comes with a mirror and dual-sided brush. What I like is that the set is compact enough to travel with. The brush is pretty decent, but a little bristly. If you dampen the brush, it's not too bad. I'll probably stick with my professional brushes to apply the eyeshadows, though.

The shadows apply on very smooth and easy with a little bit of fall out. However, what I've learned is that if you apply the shadow with a damp brush, they'll go on smoother, plus you'll get more intense color.

I tend to stay away from shimmer colors because my face tends to get shiny already, but I like these because they're not too shimmery. In the picture below, I'm wearing "Sunset" all across the lid up to the brow bone. Then I applied "Foxy" along the lash line.

"She Wears It Well" is available for a limited time. It's already sold out on the Anastasia Beverly Hills website, but hopefully you can still find it in Sephora or Nordstrom.
