The Nightie Has Officially Made Me a Woman After putting on the new nightie tonight, I've decided to say goodbye to the t-shirt and sweats night time uniform for good. Well, even if I wanted to, I couldn't even sleep in t-shirt and sweats because of the summer heat wave we've been having here in San Diego. It's actually tempted me to just sleep naked. I'm sure my guy would love that! After I wrote about getting out of the nightwear rut, I've been inspired to shop for fun and flirty pajamas; something I could sleep in and even just wear around the house during the day. I was browsing the nightwear for women at Ellos.co.uk and can't seem to get away from the black and white horizontal stripes. I could even wear this nightie with leggings and call it a day. Being a practical person, I'm all for buying clothing that can do double duty.  I guess now you can say that I've officially become a "woman". I care that my underwear and bra matches and I like to shop for lingerie and nighties. A whole new world has opened up for me! Now I just have to go through my drawers to make room for a lingerie and nightwear wardrobe...and maybe order a Victoria's Secret catalog too while I'm at it. New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2012 Collections: Favorites So Far John Patrick of Organic was quoted in Style.com, which just posted a review of his latest collection for Spring/Summer New York Fashion Week. Ah, yes, NYFW is back! Although I can't participate in the festivities (I'll live vicariously through my NY fashion blogger friends), I always get a little giddy and excited around this time of year. It's about the only time I log onto Style.com to check out runway photos and find inspiration for articles. Besides Organic by John Patrick, I've taken a look at the collections from BCBG Max Azria and Nicholas K. Every season I am inspired by some, if not all, of the pieces by BCBG. This Spring/Summer 2012 collection truly resonates with the geometric style of design that I love. The fluidity of the dresses is both feminine and romantic. These are some of my favorite pieces from the collection (photos from Style.com)...    This last dress is my absolute favorite. Everything about it from the design to the pattern and the colors I just love. Can't attend NY Fashion Week either? No worries - you can now watch LIVE runway shows on YouTube courtesy of Maybelline.
