If you ever find that you have absolutely nothing to wear because you haven't done laundry in weeks or you have a roommate/sister/mother who likes to "borrow" clothing from you, instead of running to the mall and wasting money, why not raid your boyfriend's closet?

Unfortunately, my boyfriend is 6'2" and likes to wear sizes XXL or XXXL, so the closest thing I can get to wearing his clothing is a t-shirt to sleep in...Some guys do find that sexy, so I'll stick with that.

As I approach the big 35 (Yes, 35 IS a big deal. It's baby steps from here to 40), I have occasion to indulge in the 'I'm older than God' game. You know, 'I have been driving for 18 years. When 18-year-olds were being born, I was driving a CAR! I am older than God!', or 'I'm 35. I could, conceivably, have a 23 year-old-child. And they could have a child of their own. I could be a grandmother! I'm older than God'.

Jewelry Inspiration

That quote above is taken from Noritamy's website. Unfortunately, I don't share those same sentiments, at least not lately. My creative mojo has been in hibernation or on vacation. I stare at all my jewelry supplies and beads...and nothing.

I'm hoping by writing up this post, creating the spread above, and browsing through sites that I'll get that urge to create something new. Perhaps by reading this you'll get ideas for yourself on how you can spruce up your wardrobe with new jewelry...

Oftentimes I like to browse through men's jewelry collections for inspiration. Jewelry for men is typically very simple, but sometimes simple is better - especially when you're wearing an outfit that commands more attention. When the jewelry is simple, you can wear more than a few pieces like the arm party trend that continues into this season. The bracelet below is actually a man's bracelet, but I think that women could wear it too...

I've also turned to Pinterest for inspiration. I came across this Chanel necklace that I would love to replicate, but my problem is that I don't have the patience to take on a piece like this. I've made something similar that was only one strand, and it took forever to finish.
