I love working on the rooftop of Co-Merge Workplace

As a head-strong, beautiful woman, you know that you are smart, but there are days when you want to look smart too. Because I work from home, my daily outfits mostly consist of t-shirts, jeans, or simply plain ole sweats. Yeah, boring, I know.

Recently I got a desk at a coworking space in downtown San Diego because 1) I need to get out of the house and be around people, 2) I needed an excuse to dress up once in awhile, and 3) I miss the downtown area.

I do miss getting up in the morning and putting together an outfit with accessories and nice shoes...

Interestingly enough, the pants I'm wearing here are called "Smart Pants", which do make me feel more professional, polished, and...well, smarter :) They're only $36 from Maurices website. For that much I didn't think they would be very good quality, but they're much better than pants from other well-known brands.

The cardigan I'm wearing is from H&M, which cost a mere $12.95. The best bargain...ever. It has been a staple, go-to piece from my wardrobe this past fall/winter. I wear it with a t-shirt and jeans or dresses.

Latest Obsession: Shopbop and Hanky Panky Underwear (Plus Giveaway!)

After writing my last post and surveying my underwear drawer, I realize that I really do need new panties and bras. Browsing through Shopbop's site, I came across some really cute Hanky Panky underwear which inspired me to create another spread via Polyvore.

I don't know why, but I'm a little obsessed with lace underwear right now, so I'm loving the Hanky Panky black lace camisole and green lace boy shorts. Lace just makes me feel more feminine and sexy :)

I'm also loving the In Bloom by Jonquil pieces...

Shopbop also carries a few Spanx lace underwear that I like...

Mission Sexy Underwear

Who says you have to wear a low-cut shirt, short skirt, or 3-inch heels to be or feel sexy?

Although sex appeal does come from within, everything that you put on your body contributes to your overall aura of feeling sexy, including the panties and bras that you wear.

Browsing through a few lingerie sites and lingerie blogs this weekend got me thinking...Isn't it amazing how two little pieces of fabric can make a difference in how you feel about your body? I don't know about you, but I could be wearing sweat pants and an old t-shirt and still feel sexy because I'm wearing really pretty panties and a matching bra. And even if my panties and bra are not matching, I can still channel those famous lingerie models. It's all about the attitude, but nice underwear helps a little :)

When I buy new underwear, I'm always inspired to workout so that I look good wearing it. So your mission - if you accept it - is to buy panties and bras that make you feel sexy, plus get healthy and fit so that you can rock that body and match how you feel on the inside with how you look on the outside.
